The British Acoustics Delta K40 LA is a versatile, self-powered line array speaker from the Series X range, designed for high-fidelity sound reinforcement. It offers a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz and delivers up to 137 dB SPL with 1500W continuous and 3000W peak power. The system features dual 10” high-sensitivity mid-high drivers with 2.5” voice coils and a 3.4” neodymium compression driver, providing exceptional clarity and coverage with a pattern of 140° x 20°. It includes user-friendly controls such as system gain, preset selection, polarity invert, and power switch. Connectivity options include balanced XLR for stereo and link. The enclosure, made from premium-grade marine birchwood with a powder-coated grill, ensures durability, while the 4-point Delta X rigging mechanism allows for secure mounting. The unit is finished in British Acoustics' signature brown for a professional aesthetic.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
