The Onyx 4 CTW is a 4" expandable column speaker designed for outdoor and indoor applications with an IP67 rating, ensuring full protection against dust and water. It operates in a frequency range of 150 Hz to 18 kHz and provides 60W continuous power (240W peak) at 8 ohms. With a wide 120° horizontal and 30° vertical coverage, it offers focused sound projection with a maximum SPL of 111 dB, making it suitable for environments requiring clear and coherent sound. The speaker includes a 100V/70V transformer tap for 50W installations, allowing flexible integration into various systems.

Constructed with a die-cast, coated aluminum shell and matte black finish, the Onyx 4 CTW is built to withstand outdoor conditions with Onyx Terra-Coating for enhanced environmental resistance. The column speaker features precise beamforming technology to minimize lobing and comb filtering, ensuring a coherent acoustic center. The unit can be expanded with the V8 column extenders for longer configurations and includes hidden screw terminals for a clean installation. Designed for vertical deployment, it comes with built-in wall brackets for ease of mounting and is ideal for applications requiring durable, high-performance sound reinforcement.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Painstakingly Perfect Production

Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
