The Onyx Turf 250 TW is a 5" garden speaker designed for outdoor use with an IP67 rating, providing excellent protection against dust and water for long-term installations. It features a frequency response of 68 Hz to 20 kHz and delivers 80W continuous power (320W peak) with a 100° coverage angle. The speaker is equipped with a passive crossover at 2.2 kHz, operating at 8 ohms, and offers multiple transformer taps (50W, 25W, 10W) for 100V/70V systems. The speaker produces a peak SPL of 105 dB, making it suitable for outdoor applications where reliable audio performance is required.
Constructed with an impact-resistant ABS enclosure featuring Onyx Terra-Coating, the Onyx Turf 250 TW is built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. It comes in an earthy olive brown matte finish and includes hidden input plates with encapsulated cables for added durability. The speaker can be mounted using built-in wall brackets or an optional landscape pole mount, and it can also be used as a pendant with an M10 insert. The fully sealed enclosure ensures protection against environmental factors, and its compact size and light weight make it easy to install in various outdoor spaces.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
