The Alpha Source 408 Aqua is engineered to meet the highest standards of audio clarity and resilience, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor installations. Featuring an 8” low-frequency driver and a 0.75” HF compression driver, this speaker ensures natural sound reproduction across a wide frequency range, from 60 Hz to 20 kHz. Its user-rotatable horns deliver versatile coverage, with horizontal and vertical dispersion options of 90° and 50°, respectively. The Alpha Contour Waveguide ensures precise, distortion-free performance, even in challenging acoustic environments.
Housed in a marine birch plywood enclosure, the Alpha Source 408 Aqua is coated with scratch-free polyurea paint and reinforced with perforated steel grills for added durability. With an IP65 Aqua rating, it offers superior protection against dust, water, and corrosion, making it perfect for outdoor installations. Designed with flexible mounting options, including M10 flying inserts and Alpha Throne brackets, it adapts seamlessly to a range of setups. Lightweight yet robust, this speaker represents a reliable and aesthetically pleasing choice for high-performance sound applications.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
