The 2 XM is a dual-channel Class-H amplifier built for reliable, mid-power applications. Delivering 1800W per channel at 2Ω and up to 3600W bridged at 4Ω, this unit is ideal for small to mid-sized PA systems, floor monitors, or distributed audio systems where tight low-end control and clean headroom are essential. With a 20Hz–20kHz frequency response, low total harmonic distortion (<0.08% at 1kHz), and a 36 dB system gain, the 2 XM ensures smooth audio reproduction with plenty of punch. PSL preamps and Gorilla Limiters provide added protection and sonic consistency, making the amplifier highly dependable in real-world live sound environments.

The amplifier’s design focuses on flexibility and control, featuring rotary channel volume knobs, toggle switches for input sensitivity, and network-ready LED indicators for quick diagnostics. Signal integrity is ensured through XLR inputs, speak-on and binding post connectors, and high-current outputs. Housed in a 2U black aluminum chassis with a matte star white front panel, the 2 XM integrates seamlessly into any rack configuration. Backed by advanced thermal, inrush, and short-circuit protection, it offers robust operation for venues, rentals, and mobile systems that require both performance and portability.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Painstakingly Perfect Production

Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
