The Alpha Blu 410 from British Acoustics' 4 Series is a 10" Blu-Series performance installation speaker designed to deliver exceptional audio quality with improved aesthetics. With a frequency response of 55 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB) and a frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB), it ensures accurate and full-range sound reproduction. Rated for 500W continuous power (2000W peak) at 8 ohms impedance, it achieves a maximum SPL of 127 dB with a sensitivity of 94 dB. The speaker features a 10" ADR Alpha Range LF driver with a 3" voice coil and a 1.34" high-frequency compression HF driver with a 2.5" voice coil, crossed over at 1.8 kHz or bi-amplified for flexibility. Its coverage pattern is 90° x 50°, suitable for various installation applications. Housed in a premium marine birchwood cabinet with a perforated stainless steel grill backed by acoustically transparent foam over a stainless steel mesh, it features British Acoustics' signature brown finish for added elegance. The Alpha Blu 410 includes integrated handles and M-10 insertion points for easy installation and handling. It measures 24" in height, 11" in width, 12.75" in depth, and weighs 14.6 kg.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Painstakingly Perfect Production
Over the years, craftsmanship has been closely linked with small scale individualistic production. Back in 1972, we started the same way. As we grew in scale & size, it was difficult to build each speaker individually, but quality control was of utmost importance as so switching to a general assembly line was simply not an option. So we wrote up a code, one quite like enigma, to ensure quality control. We selected the right partners, got the right tools, and in cases where those weren't available, we invented them. We grew slower than most as our aim was to last longer than most.
